Alone | Today is the second time that i will be meeting Theora. Hopefully this session will go well as i continue to look into her reading habits and problems. | Aware of the lack of a phonics base, I selected easier books today. Theora appeared more open to me today, willing to listen to some of my instructions. | I figured that Theora was in serious need of a phonics base. Hence, I agreed with her mother that I would begin with flashcards soon. |

Alone | It was my first time meeting Theora and her mum. I was feeling slightly nervous since I found out that she was slightly younger than the other kid. Since their abilities would naturally differ, i would have to make several changes on my mind as well. | During the session, I was slightly taken aback by Theora’s reading abilities. Though not the worst that i have ever seen, she seemed to comprehend little of what she was reading, and was extremely shy. Her mum had to follow us through the session, which was pretty awkward. | I know that i have to deal with much more than ROsnah’s kid since Theora, being younger and lacking in phonics-education, has a much weaker command of english. Thus, i would try to come up with new plans to improve on her english. |
